Join Kelly Upson, 200 hour Yoga teacher as she guides you through a meditative and mindful practice suited for beginners or the student somewhat new to yoga. Yoga postures and modifications will be taught so that anyone at any age or level of flexibility can enjoy this practice. Kelly will guide you through poses in the best way for your body. Students will develop a strong, healthy, safe and mindful Yoga practice. This class is appropriate for everyone, especially new students, and for those who want to carve out time in their lives to relax and nurture the body.
The first class will run for 4 weeks, 6/1 through 6/29, Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30PM and Thursday mornings from 9:15-10:15AM. If weather and temperature permits, classes will be held on the Cielo Deck. Otherwise, classes will be held in the Scott Room. Four people must sign up in order for the class to take place. $8/ class, guests welcome. Members will only be billed for the classes they attend.
If participation is strong, we will continue the program through the summer.
