The Ferncroft CC Junior Golf Scholarship Program seeks to nurture disadvantaged young people ages 8-16 with an interest in golf by providing access, instruction, and equipment to introduce them to golf and develop their games. Scholarship recipients may not have the money to learn the game or belong to a course where they can practice. The Program guides them into the game of golf by teaching them on the par 3 course, practice range, and short game area that are the equivalent of a bunny slope.
The program identifies disadvantaged youths through an application process with grants made on an annual basis. Applications are accepted via the Internet, by mail, by fax, or in person, and they are not limited by location of residence. Click here for a print version of the application.
