The Robert Trent Jones, Sr. championship course at Ferncroft Country Club has hosted scores of top area tournaments, including the LPGA’s Boston Five Classic from 1980-1990.
The course design has stood the test of time and has always been highly rated. New ownership has improved the course with new cart paths, improved drainage, and upgraded golf course maintenance equipment. Under the master touch of Superintendent Michael Cassidy (formerly of Tedesco CC), the course is showing substantial improvement on its way to recapturing its past heritage.
